You don't need a cloud subscription to run AI agents. This installer gives you a complete local AI ops center — opencode CLI for coding agents, n8n for automation, TTS voice, health monitoring — all on your own hardware. Your data stays on your machine. No monthly fees. No accounts. One command, everything works.

Choose free local models (LM Studio) for full privacy, or connect cloud providers if you prefer. Either way, the toolchain is the same — you own the setup, not a subscription.

⏺ Recommended: Create a system restore point or back up your system before installing. The script is safe and tested in Docker, but backups are cheap insurance.

second-brain — Obsidian vault + agent memory integration

Active ingredient: Obsidian vault + Local REST API + session persistence

Indications for use: Your agent keeps forgetting your projects, decisions, and where you left off between sessions. second-brain gives it a permanent memory — a local Obsidian vault it reads and writes, so it picks up mid-thought instead of starting cold every time.

What it installs:

• An Obsidian vault at ~/Documents/Obsidian — your working files (Memory.md, Session Log.md, wakeup.md) seeded and ready
• The Local REST API plugin — lets your agent talk to the vault directly (fresh, per-vault secure keys)
• the obsidian skills — the agent↔vault bridge (cli, markdown, bases, json-canvas)
• Session persistence — ~/bin/oc so the agent survives terminal close, SSH drop, even reboot
• A disaster-recovery map — rebuild everything from one command if the machine dies

Dosage: One command after install.sh:

Side effects: May cause sudden recall of decisions made weeks ago, an end to "start from scratch" debates, and a mild intolerance for agents that forget you.

Active ingredient: opencode

Indications for use: Relieves platform dependency, subscription fatigue, and the nagging sensation that your tools don't belong to you.

Dosage: One curl command daily, or as needed when the algorithm changes.

Side effects: May cause sudden ownership of your own infrastructure, increased terminal confidence, and a mild intolerance for SaaS lock-in.

Warning: Not tested on venture capital. Keep out of reach of product managers. If symptoms persist past 48 hours, you're probably enjoying it.

nomad — autonomous agent watchdog

Active ingredient: psutil + docker + systemd

Indications for use: Detects autonomous agents that spin up containers, open ports, run tasks, then vanish and reappear somewhere else on your machine.

Dosage: python3 cli.py scan for a one-shot check, or python3 cli.py watch for continuous monitoring every 30 seconds.

Side effects: May cause sudden awareness of processes you didn't know were running, Telegram alerts at 3am, and an irresistible urge to docker kill things.

Warning: Not tested on agents with self-preservation instincts. Keep out of reach of AGI. If your containers keep respawning, you have a bigger problem.

sec-toolkit.sh — unified security hardening

Active ingredient: bash + UFW + AppArmor + sysctl + ClamAV

Indications for use: Fixes a system that hasn't been hardened — missing firewall rules, weak kernel settings, no auto-updates, unscanned downloads.

Dosage: ./sec-toolkit.sh check for a read-only audit, sudo ./sec-toolkit.sh harden to apply, ./sec-toolkit.sh verify to confirm.

Side effects: May cause sudden awareness of open ports, an irresistible urge to read sysctl values, and smugness when your UFW output says "deny (incoming)".

Warning: Always back up your system before hardening. sudo apt install timeshift — create a snapshot first. Not tested on systems that enjoy being vulnerable.
